Raymond is a highly accomplished and skilled filmmaker with 20 plus years in the film industry working for powerhouse production companies before launching Raygun Films in 1998. Whether tethered out of the back of an Ospry helicopter for a project for the US Marines or traipsing through a bat cave littered with flesh-eating beetles on Down to Earth, he is the quintessential professional.
Having been around farm and ranching early in his life, Raymond knows well what a Henway is and which end of the cow gets up first. Since then he has spent the majority of his time producing and directing award-winning commercials, corporate imaging and narratives. Raymond also has a keen eye and usually serves as Director of Photography on the majority of his productions. He has built a reputation for producing beautifully crafted image campaigns for major television stations around the country and has worked for Belo Broadcasting, Hearst Argyle, PBS, NBC and ABC. Raymond takes great pride in producing memorable creative while at the same time making it a pleasurable experience for all involved. Additionally, he is a self-regarded tomato and pepper connoisseur who avidly plants one of the finest gardens in his neighborhood every spring.

The production company for DOWN TO EARTH is Raygun Films, a multiple Emmy Award winning group whose previous work has included a variety of television and film projects ranging from award-winning commercials to short films and corporate imaging - for clients as diverse as Mary Kay Cosmetics to the US Marines.
Since 1998, Executive Producer Raymond Martin has spearheaded this creative incubator where new media methodologies are brought to life. For clients large or small, Raymond and his team of dedicated professionals employ a stylized, filmic approach to each project. They may be best known for their long-running Spirit of Texas campaign for ABC affiliate WFAA in Dallas/
Ft. Worth (a Belo Corporation), which portrayed the heart-warming energy of the people of the North Texas region. The company was also hand-picked to document the disaster-relief efforts following the recent tsunami in Japan, also shown on WFAA.
Utilizing the vast wealth of knowledge and abilities of its team of professional filmmakers, artists, producers and on-screen talent, RayGun will blend traditional and state-of-the-art techniques in their production of DOWN TO EARTH. In today’s fast-paced world of communicating, the company will maximize every possible media outlet for the project including broadcast, online and social media, print and live events.
The company has won multiple industry awards including over a dozen Emmys, a gold and silver Promax, and a Golden Reel. They were recently honored with two Tellys and a MarCom for their prestigious work done for the University of North Texas. RayGun is also currently in development with Scottish Screen on the feature film The Road to Marfa Lights written by Bafta nominee Robbie McCallum. RayGun also supports its local community by producing several public service announcements each year.
